On March 7, 2024, San Saba Elementary hosted their 2nd Annual San Saba Showdown Event. The students performed various line dances, square dances, and Texas two steps to celebrate Texas Independence Day which occurred earlier in the week.

Working with WT Group, an engineering consulting group, the agency engaged in a comprehensive accessibility evaluation resulting in an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan that will substantially improve access and communication efforts.
