New Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) Camp organized

Body
A new Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) Camp has been organized in Lampasas County. These men adopted the name “SALTWORKS CAMP,” taken for the old nearby salt works located near Bend. During the War For Southern Independence (1861-1865) a great amount of salt was mined for the Confederate Army from this saltworks, which was abandoned after several postwar attempts at private operation. I watched the eclipse here in Zanesville, Ohio, with me, myself and I. When I called Marsha in San Saba, she had a wonderful view of the total eclipse. What a joy it was to talk with Marsha because we share widowhood, and our husbands were best buddies. There were posts on Facebook about the eclipse from Cynthia and Suzana. Winfield showed a great view from the Regency Bridge of the beauty of spring.
