The First Responders Appreciation Lunch was held for all San Saba County First Responders on Friday, September 11th, at Agave Jalisco Restaurant in San Saba from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Heritage Funeral Homes office manager in San Saba, Anita Alverez, greeted the guests with words of appreciation and thanks for their service and dedication.

This event was held as we remember the terrorist attack on 9-11-01, the ultimate sacrifice of First Responders and the ongoing service Responders give to our communities today.

Heritage Funeral Homes sponsored this event. Owners, Dr. James Mercer and Dr. Jason Fulton, attended this event at their other locations in Lampasas, Brady and Menard.
