One of the best movements that ever hit San Saba is the tendency so apparent at present among owners of business property to build concrete sidewalks. Nothing makes a town look more "citified" or a business house look more up-to-date. Biggs & Hudson and T. C. Henry got the craze this week and are having new concrete sidewalks built in front of their places of business.

Course no matter what the weather is, some folks still go fishing. From the looks of all the nice fishing stuff that's in the store windows, folks are about to get the real fishing fever. A few folks are catching channel cat. Lake fishing is about same as usual. If the water ain't too rough to get out on in a boat you can most times have good luck with white bass and some with crappie.
