Hill Country Youth Ranch recently received a generous contribution from the Hill Country CattleWomen, who presented us with a gift certificate for beef from a market in Fredericksburg. We fired up the grill and served a delicious hamburger dinner for all the children who live at Hill Country Youth Ranch.

In this historic time when we’re dealing with the Coronavirus crisis, experiencing a drop in donations, and scrambling to keep enough food in our pantry, this wonderful gift from the Hill Country CattleWomen is so timely and greatly appreciated!

Hill Country Youth Ranch, established in 1977, is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Family Services to provide long-term therapeutic care for abused and orphaned children at all service levels. HCYR offers a continuum of services on three campuses in Kerr and Real counties ranging from psychiatric assessment and intensely structured care, to family-style living in spacious homes, to transitional living for emancipated youth in a community college setting.

The Hill Country Cattle-Women, established in 1979, have been long-time donors and partners with Hill Country Youth Ranch. We are always so grateful to receive a donation of beef and know that this wonderful community of ranchers, teachers, and beef industry affiliates are standing with us in this time of need.
