Anastasia Theodosis passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the Corning Guthrie Hospital, in Corning, NY. Ann was born June 30, 1928 in St. Ettiene, France to the late Nikolaus and Ekaterini Poulaki Kiourtakou. She was pre deceased by her loving husband, Nicholas Theodosis and sons, Dimitri Theodosis and Michael Theodosis; sonin- law, James Howard and sister, Panagiota Angelopoulos.

John Walter Putnam, “Jack” 75, died Sunday September 29, 2013 at West Oak Care Facility in Austin Texas. His wishes were to be cremated and those wishes were carried out. John; his nick name is “Jack” was born to Edward “Eddy” Putnam and June Rogers Lucas on February 15, 1938 in Santa Cruz California, as a baby he moved with his parents to his maternal grandparent’s farm in Lakeview/Richland Springs, Texas. The family later moved to Houston; He was educated in Richland Springs Elementary, (where he was taught by his great  aunt Ruby Kitely), Sheldon Elementary, Deady Jr. High, he graduated from Charles H. Milby High School, and University of Houston in Houston Texas, he served in the Army Reserves for seven years at Ellington Field in Houston. Jack lived many years in San Francisco, CA.

First, he raced his 1963 Corvette in Chicago and his 1968 Camaro in California.

Fay Rutherford

Fay Rutherford, 79, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015. Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, in Greenwood Chapel. Interment follows at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19 in Cherokee Cemetery, Cherokee. Fay was born Aug. 22, 1936, in Wink, to Milford and Lizzie Prichard. She grew up primarily in west Texas towns and graduated from Levelland HighSchool and attended Odessa College, Texas Tech University and Tarrant County College. Fay married Jerry Rutherford on May 7, 1969 in Everman. For the first few years of  their marriage, Fay worked for Fort Worth insurance companies in personnel and purchasing. She later  remained at home to raise three children. Fay had many interests in life. She was especially interested in sports, politics and current news. She really loved the Cowboys, but her greatest love was tennis. Fay loved to play tennis and when she could no longer physically play, she loved to watch tennis. Fay also loved to listen to and dance to traditional country music.

TSgt Marcos Salomé Gómez

TSgt Marcos Salomé Gómez, Sr., 84, of San Angelo, Texas, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015. He was born Oct. 22, 1931, in Omaha, NE to Primo and Estefania Gómez. A Graveside Service was Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Full Military Honors were conducted by the United States Air Force Honor Guard. Visitation was held Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at Gutierrez Funeral Chapel of Remembrance from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Holy Rosary was recited at 7:00 that evening at the funeral home. Marcos proudly served our country for 23 years, that included two tours in Vietnam. After his retirement from the military he received a BA in Education at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas and taught for 21 years. Marcos married Marie Anita Gamboa on June 15, 1958, in San Saba, Texas. They resided in various parts of the United States dur-

Tommy Gunter

Born August 15, 1936 in San Saba, Texas, Tommy Gunter passed away October 6, 2015 in Sacramento, CA. He served in the Navy after high school. Residing in Orangevale, CA for 57 years, he owned G & S Plumbing and American River Car Wash; coach and a board member for Orangevale Little League; member and Board member of Sierra View Golf Country Club; Board of Director for Orangevale Water District; Orangevale United Methodist Church member and Board of Trustee. Tommy was a lifelong SF Giants and 49er fan. He loved his grandchildren, baseball and growing tomatoes. Tommy is survived by loving wife, Jayme of 58 years; three sons, Sam (Becky), Jay (Kim) and Joe (Jeannie); granddaughters, Hannah and Shelbie; grandsons, Steven, Matthew, Rocco and Luke.
