Ryan James Chrastina of San Saba, Texas passed away February, 20 2020, at the age of 35, after a long hard fought battle with cancer. Ryan was born December 8, 1984 in Austin, Texas to Curtis and Cindee (Kiss) Turner.

Ryan was truly a one of a kind human being. He moved to San Saba County in 2013 after taking a job with Greater Texas Stone where he worked as the Maintenance and Safety Manger. Ryan worked side by side with his brother, Dylan, and that is how it has been for most of their adult lives.

Although Ryan did not have any children of his own, he spent his days pouring his attention into his nieces and nephews, who he was very proud of. Ryan was a very charitable human being who was also very big on trying to help troubled teens get on the right track before adulthood.

Ryan is predeceased by his parents, grandparents, and his aunt who helped raise him.

He is survived by his brother, Dyan Kiss and wife, Amanda, and their two children (Kendall and Major) of Smithville, Texas; his sister, Georgia Turner and her four children (Mia, Sophia, Noah and Paul); his aunt, Melanie Fischer of Pflugerville, who cared for him while he was sick; and a long list of uncles and cousins who will miss Ryan dearly.

There will be a memorial for Ryan at the Gabriel’s Funeral Chapel in Georgetown, Texas, Saturday, March 14th at 2:00 p.m. for all friends and family, with a reception to follow.
