Do What You Love, and Love What You Do

When you know someone who radiates delight in their chosen occupation, it’s enjoyable just listening to that person talk about it. Fortunately, we’ll all have the opportunity to hear from just such an individual: Robin Noel, Landscape Designer living in Lampasas, will regale us at Hamilton Extension Education Association’s Spring Fling on Monday, March 9th, at St. John Lutheran Church on Highway 22/Cheyenne Mesa in Hamilton.

After successful careers in the corporate world, Robin and her husband moved from Florida to Lampasas, where she quickly joined organizations where she could learn about the love of her life, plants. I met her in the Lampasas Herb Club, but she had also upgraded herself via the Antique Rose Emporium, studied to become a Master Gardener, and acquired a business license.

All this information quickly led to her next career as a professional landscape designer, where she promptly excelled and was in great demand for both residential and commercial contracts. She labels herself “the original tree hugger,” and has clearly loved the work she has done in that arena.
