On Saturday, December 14, the San Saba County Chamber of Commerce held their 7th Annual Sip N’Stroll Wine Tasting Event, where 10 wineries were featured in downtown businesses.

With a $30 purchase, participants received a wine glass and tote bag and got to enjoy tastings from two local wineries: Old Man Scary Cellars and Wedding Oak Winery, and eight visiting wineries, including: Stoneledge Vineyards poured at Alamo Pecan & Coffee, Red Wing Dove Winery poured at Everett’s Furniture, Fiesta Winery poured at Harry’s Boots, Texas Legato Winery poured at JC Campbell & Co Mercantile, Torr Na Lochs Vineyard & Winery poured at Oliver and Co, Perissos Vineyards poured at San Saba Olive Oil, Flat Creek Estate Winery poured at Texas Hill Country Sass Boutique, and Brennan Vineyards poured at San Saba Soap Co. All wineries had their signature wines for sale by the glass or bottle.

Approximately 685 people were in attendance, traveling from as far as the San Antonio, Dallas and Houston metroplexes to participate in the annual event. “This year’s Sip N’ Stroll was very successful,” said Cindy Higginbotham, Executive Director of The San Saba County Chamber of Commerce. “Our main objective is to promote our local businesses and help generate business for them and our hotels and restaurants.”
