It was a very busy week last week as we headed into our homecoming game against Rochelle Friday night. Spirit week was fun and we had many participants in the dress-up days. Our annual “ultimate musical chairs” competition was entertaining at the pep rally!

The Indians started out strong against Rochelle, leading the game by halftime with a score of 26-15. We continued to lead throughout the 3rd quarter, but the visiting team came back in the fourth quarter and pulled out a win. The final score was 68-85.

The homecoming court wowed us as always and braved the cold weather well. Freshman duchess was Kora Berrio. Her escort was Joey Bond. Sophomore duchess was Yaneiry Vega. Her escort was Tristian Arkansas. Junior class duchess was Allie Berrio with escort, Zayne Porch. Our homecoming nominees were Kyler Bordner, Cassie Holland, and Raegan Bond. Raegan Bond was crowned our 2019-2020 homecoming queen. Congratulations!
