Our Richland Springs Coyotes once again had a fight on their hands last Friday night against the San Antonio FEAST Patriots. As soon as the dust settled, our Coyotes claimed the “W” at home (90-66) and improved to (4-0) on the season.

Our Coyotes are now (94-1) over the past 18 seasons at Coyote Field.

Offensively, our Coyotes generated 632 yards. A majority of it (497) came from the ground game. Matthew Rigdon led all rushers with 254 yards on 24 carries including 4 TDs. Griffen Rigdon added 3 TDs of his own, carrying the ball 9 times for 149 yards. Lane Shannon only had 4 carries but produced 94 yards and had 2 TDs.

Matthew Rigdon was 7 for 14 passing for a total of 135 yds and one TD toss to Massiah Clarady. Massiah lead all Coyote receivers with 3 catches for 72 yards.

Lane Shannon was a defensive nightmare for the Patriots. He charted a total of 12 tackles and 11 of those were solos! Massiah Clarady andWadeAppleton each had 5 tackles.
