Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will participate in an Ag and Wildlife Symposium hosted by the Hill Country Soil and Water Conservation District and U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service on Sept. 6 in Lampasas.

This symposium will offer local landowners and land managers an opportunity to hear about conservation management practices essential to their farming, ranching and wildlife operations, said Lisa Prcin, AgriLife Research watershed coordinator for the Lampasas River Watershed Partnership.

The event is free and includes a catered barbecue lunch. The workshop will be held at the Grace Fellowship Church, 2974 U.S. Highway 281. Preregistration is required by Sept. 2.
