San Saba County Commissioners’ Court holds regular meeting April 29th

The San Saba County Commissioners’ Court met for a regular meeting on Monday, April 29th, in the County Judge’s Chambers. Judge Byron Theodosis called the Court to order at 8:35 a.m. He then welcomed everyone. Commissioner Kenley Kroll gave the invocation and led everyone in the flag pledges. No citizens were present in the audience to voice concerns.

Prior to the formal part of the meeting, Larry Ballard of Brownwood, who is designing and creating the benches and tables from fallen parts of the Wedding Oak for the courthouse, brought stained and lacquered wood samples and part of a bench table for the Court and attending County employees to inspect. He wanted to make sure that the stain was the appropriate shade. The Court and attendees agreed to the shade and thanked Mr. Ballard for the great job he is doing on the

benches and tables.

Next, Ms. Marsha Hardy, County Emergency Management Coordinator, informed the Court that the Indigent Program only has monies available for prescriptions for those who have already signed up for benefits and alread have the eligibility card. Ms. Hardy stated the Indigent Program will close at the end of the business day tomorrow (April 30, 2019). Special Action Items:
