Witness said he would not come to Austin until the sheriff promised to come with him.

He denied that Captain McDonald, Sergeant Sullivan or any one else had ever asked him to testify to anything. but the truth.

Miss Eula Barnes testified she was the daughter of Mr. Daugherty, and in 1889 she lived in San Saba County.

She told about the time Turner was killed Mr.. Ford invited her to come to her house to stay all night saying he was going away and Mrs. Ford would be alone.

She went and about suppertime she saw a number of men, perhaps a dozen and they had guns. After supper they went off.
