I had a wonderful time in Fort Worth this past week. I attended a three day science conference. My brain is on information overload. There were over 600 workshops to attend and just finding the right one to attend was enough to blow your mind. The convention center is huge and if you aren't careful, you are going to get many miles in before your day is done. I did try to get sessions close to one another, but it just didn’t work out that way very often. I did draw the line after I attended one at the far end of the center.

It didn’t leave me enough time to get back to my next session. There is also the exhibit hall with seven ages of vendors. Anyone and everyone who has even a smidge of science is there selling things. I bought some things for my classroom and I bought myself a t-shirt that said science teachers have the solution. I will also tell you that Fort Worth was much colder than Richland Springs. I had these lightweight three-quarter length sleeved shirts and spent the first day frozen to the core. I had to buy an expensive tourist sweat shirt so that I could unthaw. I didn’t look spiffy the next day, but I sure was much warmer
