Frances Hammond Little, 68, was born on October 7, 1950 in Goldthwaite, Texas. She passed away in Brownwood, Texas on October 28, 2018. Frances' parents were Dee Albert Hammond and Vivian Merlene (Stark) Hammond. She married Richard "Dick" Little on December 18, 1971 in Goldthwaite. Frances and her husband later moved to San Saba, Texas, where she was Chief Financial Officer for Hill Country Community Action Association. She and her husband later returned to live in Goldthwaite until her death. Frances truly lived life to the fullest through the simplest pleasures. Whether it was cooking, camping, golfing or working, as long as she was around family and friends, she was smiling. Her laugh was contagious. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Frances is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" Little, of Goldthwaite; two daughters: Katie Beckner and husband, Austin, of McKinney, Texas and Lindsay Parker and husband, Cliff, of Katy, Texas; four grandchildren: Kately Beckner, Bryce Beckner, Wyatt Parker and Lawson Parker; sister, JoNell Miller and husband, Johnny, of Goldthwaite; two brothers: Gary Hammond and wife, Marie, of Marble Falls, Texas and Johnny Hammond and wife, Rosa, of Laredo, Texas; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Family, friends and others whose lives Frances touched are invited to her Celebration of Life at the Goldthwaite Municipal Airport on Saturday, November 10th, at 5:30 p.m. This is meant to be a time to reminisce in all of the great memories and moments that we shared with Frances in her much too short time on this earth.
