The San Saba County Commissioners’ Court met for a regular meeting on Monday, May 30th, in the County Judge’s Chambers. County Judge Byron Theodosis called the Court to order at 9:28 a.m. and welcomed everyone. Rickey Lusty gave the invocation and led everyone in the flag pledges. No citizens were present in audience to voice concerns.

Prior to start of meeting, Marsha Hardy, San Saba County Emergency Management Coordinator, approached and told the Court she will be doing a windshield survey tomorrow in Richland Springs and surrounding areas to collect data to determine approximate damage costs. Disaster declaration and survey can be done online; if we qualify, a PIN number will be issued to the County for disaster relief assistance. Some of the assistance could be in the form of volunteer teams of people to help in cleaning, repairing, rebuilding, etc., as well as Small Business Loans, if needed, at a very low rate for vehicles, roofs, etc.
