Harold Gene Hardman went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Visitation was on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba. Funeral Services were held on Saturday,  December 6, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment was held at Holt Cemetery. Harold Gene Hardman was born November 21, 1922 in Holt, Texas to William Westley Hardman and Mattie Lou Wilborn Hardman. He served in the Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater from February 9, 1943 to January 12, 1946. He married Grace Marie Joyce Hardman on September 13, 1947 in Brady, Texas and were married for 67 wonderful years. She was the love of his life. They moved to Lakeview community in 1949. He was a member and song leader of Holt Baptist Church for many years and also maintained the grounds and building. He was a member of the Richland Springs First Baptist Church. He loved horses, and was a horse trader, farmer and rancher. He is survived by his wife, Grace Hardman of Richland Springs, two sons, Garland Hardman of Round Rock, Joey Hardman and wife, Diane, of Placid; two grandchildren, Bradley Hardman and wife, Mary, of Mansfield and Heath Hardman and wife, Lauren, of Stephenville; four great grandchildren; Bailey and Mason Hardman of Mansfield and Kaden and Karson Bernal of Decatur and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mattie Hardman, six brothers and two sisters. Services provided under direction of Heritage Funeral Home with David Locke officiating
