Clarece Estelle Lively, 83,passed away on April 12, 2014, in Kingsland, Texas. She was born on February 27, 1931, to Edgar R. Light and Wilma (Smith) Light in San Saba County, Texas. She married Scyrus B. Lively on August 2, 1949. Together they lived most of their lives in San Saba, Texas. Clarece spent the last 16 years of her working career employed with the U.S. Postal Service serving as Postmaster Relief. She had a passion for  ooking and taking care of others. Along with her husband, she enjoyed working cattle and, later in life, Clarece ran sheep and goats. She was a member of the Cherokee Church of Christ. She is survived by one son, Scyrus Stanley Lively of Cherokee, Texas; one grandson, Shane Allen Lively and wife, Patricia, of Buchanan Dam, Texas; one granddaughter, Shanna Sellers and husband, Levaughn of Pelham, Georgia; one  great-granddaughter, Makaela Lively of Buchanan Dam, Texas; one great-grandson, Logan Sellers of Pelham, Georgia; one sister, Kathey Hall of Pearland, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Scyrus Lively; one brother, Lawrence Light; and two sisters, Elva Slaughter and Louise Lively. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in San Saba, Texas with interment to follow at Chappel Cemetery in San Saba, Texas.
