Maria Del Refugio Ramos, 73, of San Saba, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2012 in Round Rock, Texas. She was born July 4, 1939 in Huapango, Mexico, the daughter of Irineo Trejo and Atilana Rojas Trejo. She loved her garden and her children, having spent a lifetime tending to all.

Coleman Wesley “C.W.” Cox Sr., 79, of San Saba, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, in San Saba. Graveside services were held on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at the Richland Springs Cemetery in Richland Springs,Texas. C.W. was born on February 24, 1933, in Alpine, Texas, to Coleman Foster Cox Jr.

A Celebration of the life of Frank Angerstein, age 63, of Early, was held at 2:30 P.M., Sunday, January 13, 2012 at Early First Baptist Church with David Barnum and Eddie Ailshie officiating. Heartland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Frank went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 9th, 2013. He was born on December 19th, 1949 in San Saba, Texas to Barton and Edith Angerstein.

William C. “Bill” Haverlah was living at Walden Court Assisted Living in Llano, Texas at the time of his death on January 5, 2013. He was born June 13, 1931 in DeWees, Wilson County, Texas to Lee Henry Haverlah and Anna Alma (Matheaus) Haverlah. He lived on the farm in DeWees with his grandparents until the age of six.

Donna Kaye Stewart, age 68 of Lampasas, Texas died December 28, 2012 at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. She was born August 1, 1944 in Lampasas, Texas, the daughter of Donald Bordner and Ora Dell (Smith) Bordner. Donna was a hairdresser and the owner of Donna’s Beauty Salon.

Jack T. Taff, 84, a lifetime resident of San Saba, Texas, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at his residence in San Saba. He was born November 2, 1928 in San Saba, the son of William T. Taff and Bessie Linn Taff. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict after which time he returned home to farm and ranch. He is survived by several nieces and nephews: Mary and Jarvis Gossett of San Saba, Debra Taff Watson of San Saba, William T.

Lewis O. Jones Jr. passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 in the loving comfort of his family at the age of 84 years old. Lewis was born on June 4, 1928 to the late Lewis O. Jones Sr. and Ola (Kegley) Jones in Temple, Texas. After graduating from Temple High School, Lewis joined the US Air Force.

Roberto Torres, Sr., of San Saba, Texas, passed away Sunday, December 30,2012, at his home in San Saba, at the age of 77. He was born June 1, 1935 in Rocksprings, Texas, the son of Francisco Torres and Eloisa Martinez Torres. Later, as a young adult, Roberto Torres and Manuelita Rodriguez were married and made their home in San Saba where he followed his job, shearing sheep and working in the pecan industry.

Eureta (Reta) Whitley, 83, of San Saba passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, in Brownwood, Texas. Visitation was held on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Home in San Saba. Services were held on Saturday, December 22, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Home San Saba.

Mr. Frank S. Hardin of Fredericksburg and formally of Harlingen passed away on Wednesday December 12th in the Hill Country Memorial Hospital at the age of 87 years. Frank was born February 10, 1925 in San Saba, Texas to Perry and Winnie Boynton Hardin. He attended The University of Texas prior to joining the Army Air Corps in 1943.
