It has been tagged as “Super Sunday”. Today the Super Bowl will be played in New Orleans between the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens. These are the two best teams the NFL has this year; and one of them will be crowned champions, while the other team will go home knowing they got so close but did not get the ring. We’ve had a beautiful run of weather this past week, but they tell me cold is coming. Wayne Powell gave me a bunch of pecans to fatten me up so that I wouldn’t get sick again. The Elm Grove Community Meeting was held last Saturday night. There were not many in attendance. I encourage everyone to come to the meetings, your participation is so important to keeping this historic building a “living and breathing” part of the community.
