Kadence Isham - Second place in 7th grade girls singles at Fredericksburg Tournament.
The San Saba Middle School Tennis Team played in the Fredericksburg Middle School Tournament on Saturday, April 15th. Teams playing in the tournament were Fredericksburg, San Saba, Mason, Uvalde, Gatesville, Lampasas, Ingram, Johnson City, and Saint Mary. Playing for San Saba were Kadence Isham, Josselin Rojas, Marlane Rodriguez, Perla Gil, Ximena Cuevas, Daisy Macedo, Mia Davila, Mariana Macedo, Karen Correa, Jaritzel Rojas, Anna Rangel, Angel Reyes, Rodolfo Valdez, Kevin Aguilera, Adriana Macedo, Isaac Hernandez, Brenda Aguirre, and Audie Martinez.
In 7th Grade Girls Singles, Kadence Isham won second place and Josselin Rojas won fourth place. In 7th Grade Boys Singles, Adrian Correa was a quarterfinalist.
In 8th Grade Girls Singles, Marlane Rodriquez and Perla Gil were quarterfinalists. Jaritzel Rojas was a consolation semifinalist.
In 8th Grade Boys Singles, Angel Reyes was a consolation semifinalist. Rudolfo Valdez was a consolation quarterfinalist.
In 8th Grade Girls Doubles, Mia Davila and Mariana Macedo came in fourth place. Karen Correa and Anna Rangel were consolation champions. Ximendo Cuevas and Daisy Macias were consolation semifinalists.
In 8th Grade Mixed Doubles, Adriana Macedo and Kevin Aguilera came in fourth place. Brenda Aguirre and Isaac Hernandez were consolation champions.
The Middle School team will be playing in the Mason Middle School Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 21st and 22nd. The San Saba Middle School will be hosting a Middle School Tournament in San Saba on Saturday, April 29th. We will have eight teams coming to the tournament. Teams playing in tournament will be San Saba, Mason, Llano, Fredericksburg, Brownwood, Copperas Cove, Lometa and Lohn.
To parents of Middle School players: We will be having a meeting in the foyer of the white gym on Thursday, April 20th, at 6:00 p.m. for any parent who would like to help with the concession stand on April 29th.
