With all the craziness of holidays, back to school and snow days, this article has been out of commission the last few weeks, but we are back in business now! Our students have been hard at work participating in basketball tournaments, the San Saba County Youth Fair, the stock show, youth basketball, UIL, and so much more! Because there is so much to cover, I will have to break apart some of the announcements. This week we will feature our youth fair and stock show participants.

In the youth fair, kindergartner Braelynn Wilson got 1st place in jewelry, 2nd place in cookies and Reserve Champion overall in the food division for her age group. In first grade, Brantley Shannon placed 2nd in Legos, and Cara Sue Broyles placed 1st in cookies and Grand Champion overall in the food division for her age group. In 3rd grade, Avery Wilson earned 2nd place in jewelry, 1st place in cake, and Grand Champion overall in the food division for her age group, and Parker Weeks placed 1st in woodworking.
