What a blessing the weather has been this week. The rain replenished my tank and the cool made recess time at school much more pleasant. I guess our spring flowers will appreciate it as well. I don’t have much grass growing in the pasture, but I have a ton of flowers showing off their colors.

There has been no rain the past week. We had some nice, warm days, but today is cold and dreary. They say the old groundhog saw his shadow so supposedly, we are in for six more weeks of winter weather. I think we already knew that without him letting us know!

Farmers know what this means because it is a farmers nightmare. It is when a layer of dirt compacts below surface of the topsoil and becomes very hard.
