Dorothy Ellen Reavis, 81 of Oakalla, TX passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Heart Hospital of Austin.Dorothy was born June 16, 1930 in Belton, TX to John Thomas Hunt and Dixie Zell Ray Hunt. On August 31, 1946 Dorothy married Leonard Barton Reavis. Receipts totaled 3090 head for the week. The market saw another increase this week as the future market reached new record levels. A choice offering was on hand with demand strong as the stocker steers were $10 higher and stocker heifers were also $10 higher. Feeder steers were in strong demand selling $5 higher and heifers were $3 higher.
Services for Ramona Mae Kempsky, 49, of Lometa will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in San Saba , Texas. She passed away on Saturday, February 4, at Scott and White Santa Fe Hospital in Temple, Texas.Mrs. Kempsky was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to George and Hertha Chevalier on December 27, 1962.
Samuel “Sam” Flores, age 44, of San Saba passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at his residence. He was born on February 8, 1967 in San Saba to Adolfo Flores and Teckla Ramos. He graduated from San Saba High School in 1986 and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in San Saba.

Barbara Adams Heimann, age 71, of San Saba, passed away on January 23, 2012. Barbara was born on July 24, 1940 to Arthur and Alma Wooley in San Antonio, Texas. She was a long-time resident of San Saba County where she worked for awhile at Eventide Nursing Home. Barbara will best be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Paula Lewis Melton, age 50, of Iowa Park, Texas passed away Saturday morning, January 28, 2012, at a Wichita Falls, Texas hospital.Services were held Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City. Mrs. Clyde Sweeney, Sr. (Clarice Moody) passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 in Stephenville, TX. She was born July 25, 1923 in Thurber, TX to Joe and Willie Lawson Moody.
