He was born May 16, 1918 in the Bowser Community in San Saba County, the son of Homer Dudley Martin and Josie Miller Martin. On November 6, 1941, Jim Jack Martin and Perry Lou Ann Coughran were married in New Orleans, LA.

Louis Flores, 48, of Huntsville, AL, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008 in Huntsville. Born June 26, 1960 in San Saba, he was the son of Adolfo and Teckla Flores. Louis was retired from the U.

Judy Carney Grumbles, 64, of San Saba, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. She was born July 24, 1944, in Baytown, Texas, the daughter of William Carney and Lura Shanks Carney.

Mable Ruth (Mackie) Towerton passed away Friday, May 30, 2008 in Keene, Texas. Services were held June 4, 2008 in Keene Texas. She was buried in the Keene Cemetery.

William E. Bodie, 88, of Indian Gap passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008 in Hamilton, Texas. He was born September 21, 1919, in Newberry South Carolina, the son of Josiah W.

Evelyn Smith Gilbreath Jones, 84, of Austin, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2008 in Austin, Texas. She was born August 9, 1923 in the China Creek Community in San Saba County, the daughter of Elbert Wayne Smith and Jessie Williams Smith. Evelyn was a homemaker and attended the Christian Church.

Maria P. Torres, 51, passed away Monday, August 11, 2008 at her residence in San Saba. She was born October 17, 1956, in Leveland, Texas, the daughter of Robert Torres and Manuelita Rodriquez Torres.

JoAnn Randolph Gibson, 79, of Wichita Falls, completed her journey from this world to her Heavenly home on July 28, 2008, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She passed away peacefully in Abilene at the home of her son, Robert Layne Gibson.

Leah Marlene Craig went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 71 on Monday, July 21, 2008, at a Comfort Care Center, with her loving family at her bedside. She was born on November 7, 1936 in Zanesville, Ohio, to Eherment Perry Bates and Lena Irene Jenkins Bates. Leah loved her Lord and Savior to the depth of her heart and with great faith.
