Harvey Galloway, 87, of San Saba passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010, at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Harvey was born November 11, 1922 in Winters, Tx., the son of Hubert Galloway and Beluah McDonald Galloway. Harvey was a tow boat captain and a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. On February 14, 1983 Harvey married Annie Faye Young in Lampasas. Sarah Naomi Richardson, 87, of Lampasas TX passed away August 17, 2010. She was born June 18, 1923 to Fredrick and Minervia Richardson in Adamsville TX. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Minerva Mae Richardson; Freeda Ruth Rush; and Mary Alice Roberts; also two nephews, Bill Richardson Jr.
Steven Aubrey Spears of San Saba passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010. Steven was born October 10, 1955, the son of Audrey A. Spears and Hallie Lindsey Spears. Steven was a CASA casework supervisor. He was a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association, the First Baptist Church of San Saba, and the child welfare board.

Alfreda Whitley of San Saba passed away Friday, August 13, 2010 at a local care facality. Alfreda was born December 4, 1918 in Gillespie County the daughter of Edward Brown and Lydia Schlaudt. On December 17, 1938 Arthur Whitley and Alfreda Brown were united in marriage in San Saba County. Arthur preceded her in death on December 13, 2004.

Laura (Louise) Light Lively, 76, of the Bend Community passed away August 13, 2010 at her residence. Louise was born December 16, 1933, the daughter of Edgar and Wilma Light. On November 4, 1949 Louise and W. E. Lively were united in marriage in Cherokee. He preceded her in death on December 27, 2001. Louise is survived by two sons, Barry Lively of Cherokee, and Gerod Lively and his wife Judy of Cherokee.
MABEL "PATTI" KIRKPATRICK ALLISON, 100, passed away in Thousand Oaks, CA on August 9, 2010. She was born on January 3, 1910 in San Saba, TX to Ira D. Kirkpatrick and Bernice M. Asher. As a young girl, she lived with her family in several states before settling in Southern California in the 1920’s.

Funeral Services for Charlotte Ann Millican, age 70, of Brownwood were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday August 7, 2010 at the Davis Morris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Debbie Lake officiating. Interment followed at 2:00 p.m. at the Colony Cemetery in San Saba county, Texas, under the direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home.

Gloria Gage Lemons was born June 27, 1938, in Chappel, Texas to Truett Gage and Mary Day. Gloria was a housewife and a member of the Central Baptist Church. Mildred I. Chamberlain, 82 of Richland Springs passed away Saturday, August 7, 2010 at a local care facility. She was born June 10, 1928 in Richland Springs, Texas to James Walter Land and Hettie Inez Justice Land. Mildred married John Hopkins on October 20, 1951 Llano, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1989.
