The clouds were pretty thick. The wind was definitely making itself known. Shopper traffic One of our out of town vendors, 'Sweet Shop' out of Sweeny, Texas, brought their homemade brittles. Sarah Brumbelow had bite-size samples of here homemade brittle flavors: Almond with Chocolate and Sea Salt, Cashew, Spicy Cashew, looked like it would be very disappointing for the day, for the Pecan Capital Trade Days.

Spicy Pistachio, Classic Peanut, Pecan, and Cinnamon Pecan.

While sharing her yummy brittles with San Saba, her husband, Micah, was down the road in Llano with their larger display, both of them introducing the Hill County to the 'Sweet Shop' But then, things started picking up, and it was a great Trade Day!

homemade brittles.

If you were one of the many who enjoyed the 'Sweet Shop' brittle, they also ship their product. Just look them up on Facebook - Micah or Sarah Brumbelow.

Trade Day shoppers were treated with fun music from the Gospel Rocks Ranch booth. Jonathan and Zoe Hager played their violins for the crowd. Gospel Rocks Ranch is located in Llano, Texas. Gospel Rocks Ranch is a camp where kids can come to have fun and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You can find out more at their website gospelrocksranch.org.

Jonathan is a member of the Praise Band at San Saba's First Baptist Church, but we have never seen him play his violin like this! Not only did he play his violin, but then he played while riding a unicycle. But wait! That is not all! He then played behind his head, and then behind his back. All this was during the same song, and he never missed a beat!

Many shoppers whipped out their phones to video such a sight!
