HEBREWS 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please God."
This is a very small verse with few words; but it has a large, and vitally needed message, that can never be exhausted when correctly researched and used. No topic in your Bible is mentioned more often than faith; and God cannot be pleased when it is not seen.

Halloween is lots of fun for children. They start planning their costume weeks before October 31st. To make sure your children have a safe Halloween make sure the costume fits. A costume that is too long can cause a child to trip and fall. Also, consider using make-up instead of a mask to keep vision better.

Dear Editor,
On occasion, I have been on high ground in San Saba County and looked out over the horizon and saw smoke rising. Recent events have caused this to take on a new symbolism in my mind, and I want to share that with landowners and residents of the county.
Back in the day, to see that smoke rising usually meant that Comanche Indians had raided your neighbor; the cabin was burning to the ground, he was already dead, and his wife and children were either dead or captive.

We made our children say it when they were little. Either,” I’m sorry” or “forgive me” depending on what was done. They said it because they were made to even though they did not really feel that way.
In thinking about human relationships many times we do or say hurtful things to others.

It appears that any time we think we might need a rain, we get it. We’ve had a few reports of varying amounts from some sectors of the County, but alot of folks have sort of given up trying to keep a total tally as we’ve pretty well become spoiled to getting good rainfall.

In 2000, the Armadillos finished that season with a 6-4 record. The team is 6-2 with two games left. One must go back to 1994 to find a season with 7 or more wins.
