The Simpson Creek Extension Club met on Nov. 19th at 12 p.m. at the home of Martha Roe Terry.

A wonderful turkey dinner was enjoyed by Janis Bull, Marcie Cooper, Sherri Cradduck, Bonnie Harkey, Carol Littlefield, Patsy McConnell, Jeanne Sauer, Vickie and CK Stevenson and Martha Roe Terry. Martha Roe has been hosting the Thanksgiving dinner for thirty five years and still bakes the best turkey and dressing in town. Thanks so very much Martha Roe, we love you!!

A business meeting was held after lunch. The Pecan Food Show was discussed, it will be held Dec. 5th from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. The event is open to women, men and youth of the county, club members and non-members using pecans in the baked goods.

After the meeting was adjourned the ladies and C.K. helped to clean up. A good time was had by all.
