Ramona Sifuentes went to be with the Lord on November 20, 2008. She was born the daughter of Leonardo & Julianna Aranda on September 20, 1925 in Dilly, Texas. Ramona married Raul Sifuentes in September of 1959. She was a housewife, a caring mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. She belonged to the Catholic Church.

She is survived by four sons, Juan Aguilar of Brownwood; Ruben Sifuentes of Sunrise Beach, MO.; Charles Pierce and his wife Shelia of Denver City, TX.; Rene Sifuentes and his wife Mary of Brownwood. Two daughters, Juanita Becker and Rosa Botello both of San Saba. She had 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Ramona is preceded in death by her parents, Leonardo and Julianna Aranda; husband, Raul Sifuentes, one son; Jose Flores and one great granddaughter, Heaven Stevens.

Funeral Services were held Monday, November 24, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home with Deacon Richard Menchaca officiating. Interment followed at the San Saba City Cemetery.

A Rosary was held Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral Services were under the direction of Howell-Doran Funeral Home.
