The San Saba Ladies Golf Association met November 13, 2008 with only four ladies playing golf, Jo Anne Hardy, Hattie Rogers, Sandee Hartley, and Dorothy Sterner, but they reported they had a great time.

They played Binga, Banga, Bonga, which is a game where you are awarded a point to the first player on the green, the nearest to the hole, and the first putt in the hole. First Place went to Jo Anne and Second Place went to Sandee. But the big winner was Dorothy who won the chip in pot! Sandee scored the Low Gross for the day and she and Jo Anne tied for Low Net.

We are expecting cold weather at any moment but not to worry. Too cold for golf just means we will be playing card games and having fellowship and lunch. We will be meeting at the new RV Room when we can’t play golf so join us if you can, we will be having fun but will be wishing we were “swinging!”
