Guests in the home of Rick and Wiliece Hoffman recently were Dale, Jennifer, Natalie and Alanna Christian of College Station; Shea, Dawn, and Charlotte Riordan of College Station; and Carlos and Shirle Harlow of Colorado Springs. All were here to attend the funeral ofWiliece’s mother, Berniece Kuykendall.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Baptist Church for Llos Boultinghouse. We extend our sympathy to Rita and Arnold.

Monica Baisden was in Cherokee last week-end visiting Doug and Cyndi Suggs and to attend Amanda Broussard’s wedding.

Nettie Jean Randolph had lots of company last week-end. Several family members came to help winterize the house.

Danny and Janiece Duggan have been in Galveston, Texas at a Soul Winning Workshop.

Larry and Paula Windham spent several days in Brenham, Texas visiting their son Reese.

Everyone is invited to attend the “Early Christian Worship” next Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. It will take place at the Cherokee Home for Children. It will represent the way some of the early Christians had to worship. It will last until 5:00 p.m. and afterwards there will be a hamburger dinner.

The Fellowship of Christian Women’s Luncheon was held at the Baptist Church on Thursday.
