Llos Boultinghouse, 73, of Cherokee, Texas, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 in Llano. She was born April 15, 1935 in Best Texas. Llos was the daughter of Clive Raymond Calley and Mary Gladys Burgess Calley. On May 29, 1953 Jessie Llos Calley and House Boultinghouse were married in San Saba County. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1985. Llos was retired from the United States Postal Service, loved to baby-sit and a member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Arnold Boultinghouse of Cherokee and one daughter, Rita Boultinghouse of Cherokee. Brothers, Gordon Calley and his wife Carolyn of Liberty Hill; Charles Calley and his wife Kathy of Manvel; Raymond Rhoades and his wife Carolyn of Llano and Rocky Rhoades of Waco. Sisters, Ruth Morris and her husband T.J. of Joppa and Louise Wortham of Monahans; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Barbara Ann Boultinghouse; three brothers: Larry Calley, David Calley, and Clifford Calley and one sister, Judy Barber.
Services were held Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Cherokee with Rev. Tom Bowden officiating. Interment will follow at the Kuykendall Cemetery.
Family received friends, Monday, November 17, 2008, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home.
The family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church in Cherokee or the Cherokee Home for Children.
