Mr. and Mrs. Carl (Pete) Hamrick, Jr. of Belton celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary on Sunday, October 26, 2008 with family and friends in attendance.

Pete Hamrick and Natalie Gage were married in San Angelo, TX, on October 28, 1948. They lived in San Saba County for the first 55 years of marriage and moved to Belton five years ago to be near their daughters.

Mr. and Mrs. Hamrick have three children: Stephen Hamrick of Ft. Worth, Susan (and Steve) Slaughter and Annie (and Bret) McCall of Belton. Grandchildren are Cody Hamrick of Abilene, Stephanie Hamrick of Stephenville, Shannon Slaughter of Lubbock and Matthew McCall of Belton. Out of town guests for the celebration included Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hamrick and Elaine Grimes of San Saba, Jan Hooten of Lometa and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Grimes of Moody.

Mr. and Mrs. Hamrick appreciate all of the well wishes they received from their family and friends.
