The San Saba County Commissioners’ Court met at 9 a.m. Wednesday, October 29th at the Courthouse in the County Judge’s Chambers. Judge Byron Theodosis called the meeting to order and Kenley Kroll gave the Invocation followed by everyone joining for the Pledges to the American and Texas flags.

The following items were discussed and action taken:

*Declared the office of the Constable dormant and abolished the office.

*Approved Resolution #2008-06, 2009 San Saba County Resolution Indigent Defense Grant Program.

* Approved San Saba County, #305, Authorization to Maintain TCDRS Plan Provisions, Plan Year 2009.

*Tabled Drainage work for a private road.

*Approved proposed revision to San Saba County Commissioner Precinct Lines.

*The Burn Ban will remain lifted with precaution when burning.

*Approved proposed amendments to the 07-08 Budget and Line Item Transfers for the 08-09 Budget.

*Approved payment of Accounts Payable for 07-08 and 08-09 presented by County Treasurer Gayla Hawkins.

After scheduling the next Commissioners’ Court for Monday November 10th at 9 a.m., the meeting was adjourned by Judge Theodosis.

Those attending the meeting were: County Judge Byron Theodosis; Commissioners Roger McGehee, Kenley Kroll and Otis Judkins; County Clerk Kim Wells; County Treasurer Gayla Hawkins; Administrative Assistant Cathi Miles; County Attorney David Williams and County Coordinator Marsha Hardy.
