The JV Dillo football team took the field against the Early Longhorns and played a really hard fought game. Offensively, the Dillos moved the ball well on the ground, but had a couple of drives come up short. The offensive line battled hard and blocked for the Dillo ball carriers that ran hard all night. From a defensive standpoint, the Dillos were able to stop Early several times but could not muster the stops in the fourth quarter. The defensive line played well.

The Dillo JV battled hard all night and never gave up. They ended up losing the game 28-7, but they never quit and showed lots of promise and improvements for the upcoming games. The Dillo JV‘s next game is in Comanche on Thursday October 30, 2008 at 6:00 P.M. We look forward to seeing you at the game supporting the Junior Varsity Football team.
