San Saba County 4-H’s 1st ever Ranch Rodeo held October 11th at the Rodeo Arena was a big success. Ten teams participated with two teams, The Llano Cowboy Cleaners and G&R Cattle, tying for 1st place. The Llano Cowboys Cleaners was composed of Ben Henniger, Ricky Morgan, Ralston Hooten and Wade Walden while G&R Cattle team included Reagen Maxcey, Codey Munden, Ben Blackburn, and Morgan Gilger. Coming in third was Cheyenne Ranch(Lee Miller, Ross Williams, Troy Gilger and Bart Fremand). Other teams who entered included: D&H Land Company, Plum Hill Livstock, No Cattle, No Land Ranch, Load ‘em in the Dark Cattle Company, Deep Creek Ranch, 3-C Ranch and Barnes Keith Ranch.

The San Saba Co. 4-H’ers sold fund raiser donation tickets on a Remington 500 rifle that was won by Coach Smith of Richland Springs.

San Saba County 4-H would like to express their appreciation to the many people who helped make the fund raiser a big success.
