Rick E. McBee, 49, of San Saba, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008 in Teague, TX. He was born June 4, 1959 in Seminole, TX, the son of Barnie McBee and Claudia Phillips McBee. On February 10, 1990, Rick McBee and Rene’ Winter were married in Bedford, Texas. Rick was a sales associate for the Vemeer Equipment Company, a member of the Professional Golf Association, and attended the First Baptist Church in San Saba.

He is survived by his wife Rene’ McBee of San Saba; sons, William Jordan McBee and Christopher Braden McBee; and daughter, McKenzie Rene’ McBee all of San Saba. Brothers: Don Finn of Rochelle, TX, Ken McBee and his wife Becky of Camp Wood, TX, and Stephen Dale McBee of Friendswood, TX. One sister Terry Lynn Frank and her husband Dave of Sioux City, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of life was held Saturday, October 18, 2008, at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in San Saba, with Rev. Sam Crosby officiating.

Family received friends Friday, October 17, 2008, 6:00 – 7:30 P.M. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home.

The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.

An educational fund for the McBee children has been set up at the Arrowhead Bank. Donations may be made directly to the Arrowhead Bank or to Clay Nettleship, trustee of the account.
