Carolyn Johnson Richert, 71, of Goldthwaite, TX passed away Friday, September 26, 2008 in Goldthwaite. She was born April 18, 1937, in Coleman, Texas, the daughter of Young B. Johnson and Florence Porter Johnson. She was a graduate of Coleman High School and the University of Texas in Austin. She later married Roland Richert and resided in places all over the world such as New York, Paris France, and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Roland preceded her in death. Carolyn attended the Baptist church and will be missed by her family and two dogs Pierre and Senhor.

She is survived one sister: Addie Lou Miller of San Antonio, Texas, one niece Martha Monaco of Seguin, Texas and three nephews: Charles Mann of California, Johnny Johnson of Houston, Texas and Jett Johnson of Goldthwaite, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers: Y.B. Johnson Jr. of Goldthwaite, and George Johnson of Coleman.

The family request that memorials be made to the Jennie Trent Dew Library in Goldthwaite, Texas.
