October 7 – October 10 San Saba HS will be giving grades 9-11 a practice TAKS benchmark test. Oct. 7 – Reading/ELA

Oct. 8 – Math

Oct. 9 – Science

Oct. 10-Social Studies

These tests will start each morning at 8:00. These scores will enable the teachers to evaluate your student’s strengths and weaknesses on the TAKS objectives and provide information on the appropriate tutorials and services we can offer your student to help him/her to be successful on the TAKS Test.

The following tutorials are offered at San Saba High School. We encourage high school students who may be struggling in their classes to take advantage of this time. Even if your student does not have one of these tutorial teachers, they are here to help all students in the following subjects:

Morning Tutorials: 7:15 – 7:51

Mondays: Mrs. Thomas – Rm. 19: Spanish, English, History

Tuesdays: Mrs. Spears – Rm. 18: English, History

Wednesdays: Mr. Harlow – Rm. 11: Math

Thursdays: Coach Mathis – Rm. 7: Math

The ApplyTexas Application is now open for Fall 2009 Freshman Application.

Go to www.appplytexas.org to begin the application process to apply for admission to college.
