School & Sports see more »The Cherokee Jr. High football team beat the Mullin Bulldogs 34-0 to open their 2008 football season. EJ Borchers scored four touchdowns and two 1 point PATs. Stephen Austermann scored one touchdown and two 1 point PATs, and 1 fumble recovery. Burnam Sloan had 3 fumble recoveries. Colton Burris had 2 fumble recoveries. Trey Shannon hauled in 2 interceptions. The Jr. High Indians will play Lometa at home Thursday night at 6:00. |
