The descendents of George Cook Taylor and Sudie Edwin Terry Taylor, whose twin brother was Henry Terry, and her father was Stephen Woodson Terry, one of the first sheriffs of San Saba County, met at the Senior Center on Sunday, August 31, 2008, for their annual Taylor reunion. One of the stories told was that Sudie Terry was in the yard of the present jail eating cornbread when a wild hog attacked her.

Their children who are deceased are Prentice, Roy, Hilda, George, Velma and Guyon, the last living member of the family is Mable Clair Wiley, a native of San Saba, and the oldest present at the reunion. Mason Ivy was the youngest present. Also, Sudie Taylor's twin brother's children - Terry Schoch, Paul Schoch, and Reta Terry Schoch Fondray - were present with some of the genealogy on a laptop, which was very interesting to everybody.
