Sharla Ann McWilliams and Scott Alan Letbetter Jr., both of Philadelphia, were married June 20, 2008, at the Moon Palace Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael McWilliams and Debbie McWilliams. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Letbetter Sr. of Rio Rancho, N.M.
Matron of honor was Mandy Brown Timms of McKinney. Bridesmaids were Nyssah Dawn Perrine of San Angelo and Taylor Dyan Letbetter of Rio Rancho, NM, and flower girl was Abigail Klassen of Coppell.
Best man was Johnny Kissko of Lubbock. Groomsmen were Jacob Wendt of Fort Worth and Mitchell McWilliams of Austin. Ring bearer was Jacob Klassen of Coppell. Those attending the wedding ceremony were: grandparents of the bride, Mr. & Mrs. Curtis Olness of Grape Creek; grandparents of the groom, Mr. & Mrs. Joe Gamboa and Mr. & Mrs. Larry Letbetter of San Saba; and cousin of the groom, Trey Moreno, of Bryan. Great-grandmother of the groom, Norene Letbetter of San Saba, was unable to attend the wedding.
The wedding reception was held at The Patio at the Gables in San Angelo, TX, on June 28, 2008.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Grape Creek High School and received a bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She is attending the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is employed by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Wall High School and received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry in 2006 from Texas Tech University. He received a master’s degree in biomedical sciences and is attending Temple University School of Medicine.
After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple will live in Philadelphia.
