Texas Community Development Institute and The Community Development Council is proud to announce that Lynda Pack of Llano, Texas, and formerly of San Saba, has completed the three year Texas Community Development Institute which included extensive topic research and study on topics including developing a workforce, principles and processes of community development, identifying stakeholders, and community assessments. Instructors from across the United States, each well-known in their business and community development fields, were teachers for the CDI curriculum.

The purpose of CDI is to provide community professionals from across the United States a forum to learn the latest skills and information in order to maximize the many community entities and partnerships for the best possible community development.

Ms. Pack has worked in this field for the past eight years and qualified to sit for the certification examination following her three years of schooling. She passed the two part exam and now holds the distinction of being one of only 210 certified Professional Community and Economic Developers in the nation.
