Through the Mustang Heritage Foundation he hopes to further his knowledge of Mustangs. “Horses give people confidence. They provide peace to people. Most people don’t know that, that is why I joined this program, because I would be able to spread the word about Mustangs and give them the respect they truly need.”About the Mustang Heritage FoundationThe mission of the Mustang Heritage Foundation is to raise awareness of the American Mustang and to increase Mustang adoptions across the country. The Mustang Heritage Foundation created the Youth Employment Program (with funding provided by the Bureau of Land Management’s Environmental Education division) and other youth programs to help showcase the recognized value of Mustangs and to give youth a place to connect to America’s equine legends- the Mustang. Since 2007, the Foundation’s adoption programs have been responsible for nearly 3,000 adoptions of trained Mustangs.
