The Mustang Heritage Foundation created the Youth Employment Program (with funding provided by the Bureau of Land Management’s Environmental Education division) and other youth programs to help showcase the recognized value of Mustangs and to give youth a place to connect to America’s equine legends- the Mustang. Since 2007, the Foundation’s adoption programs have been responsible for nearly 3,000 adoptions of trained Mustangs.
