The San Saba Tennis Team will open its season with a team match against Lampasas at Lampasas High School on Thursday, January 26 at 4:00 p.m. The tennis team will play a team match at home on Thursday, February 2, against Heritage High School from Fredericksburg. The match will start at 4:00 p.m. We hope everyone will come out and see the 2012 Tennis Team. On Saturday, February 4 the San Saba Tennis Association will have an alumni tennis match against the high school players. The match will start at 1:00 p.m. at the high school courts. All Ex-San Saba tennis players are invited to come out and play, there is no age limit. We will also take any adult players even if you did not graduate from San Saba, but now live here. The match will be in a team format against the high school players. Events will be women’s and men’s singles, doubles and mixed doubles. You can play one event , two events or all three events. Play will consist of one set, add scoring. Please let Coach Cox know if you would like to play by February 2. You can choose your own doubles partner and mixed doubles partner. If you don’t have a partner and would like to play, I will match you up with someone.
