As a part of the 2010 Howard Payne University Homecoming festivities on Saturday October 9th, the HPU cross country teams will be hosting a 5k and fun run for returning alumni, current students and anyone from the Brownwood area who would like to participate.

The fun run/walk will be roughly one mile in length throughout the campus and part of down town. For those wishing to run the 5k it will start on campus as well as running through downtown then finally finishing up back on campus in time for the homecoming parade to start and kick off the festivities.

Each participant will receive a t-shirt with their entry fee, and each winner from the men’s and women’s division will receive a trophy. Start time will be 8:00 am.
