On the morning of August 21st, a group of individuals broke into the hardware store in Richland Springs. The San Saba Sheriff's Office was notified and arrived on the scene by 8:30 a.m. of that morning and began an investigation.

The suspects entered through a rear 2nd floor window and exited through the back door, taking numerous items.

The Sheriff's Office was able to recover all of the items stolen and five individuals are being charged with burglary of a building. The suspects range in age from 13 years old to 18 years old and are all being charged in this crime.
