Centex Run for Compassion is the brainchild of four friends (Garrett Pearson, Mallory Pearson, Paige Toppert and Ruthie Long) - Goldthwaite High School students who wanted to create an event where people from all walks of life can take a stand and take action against global poverty and the destruction in Haiti. We believe running a 5K race and supporting Compassion International, a humanitarian organization, is the best way to do this.

This event will be held on March 27th, 2010. There will be a "Kiddie K" at 8:30 and 5k at 9:00. The race begins and ends in front of Mills County State Bank in Goldthwaite.
