On 3-1-2010, Sheriff Brown and Deputy Joe Dominguez arrested Preston Lamar Thomas for the Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. Sheriff Brown stated that this case had just been filed and with the seriousness of the charge, a warrant was issued for the suspect's arrest. Thomas is charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and currently in the San Saba County Jail awaiting bond. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
